A desktop icon is a helpful and quicker choice when you want to manually start the program besides launch from the Windows Start menu.  For more information, see Start and Exit the Program. You can also create a desktop icon manually after the installation. All you need is to drag-and-drop the OSpeedy System Optimizer icon from the Start menu to the desktop.
